Consuming Arts is a fempowered collaborative music ensemble from Southeast Michigan. Founded in 2016, Consuming Arts has taken many paths to get where we are now with a sound that is a blend of many genres emerging with an indie jam band aesthetic. Founding members Dr. Chelsea Koziatek (flute) and Dr. Tia Harvey (ME! vibraphone/drums), are joined by bandmates Taylor Harvey (vocals/accessory percussion) and Ryan Anderson (bass) to curate sound experiences for audiences that defy simple categorization. Our music is about expressing a variety of human experiences.
